Licensed breeder of the British Shorthair
Welcome at the website of Cattery Rinacci, a small cattery located in West-Flanders, near Bruges, Belgium.
We are specialized on breeding solid blue, lilac, chocolate, cinnamon, fawn, cream and now and then we have kittens in tortie or bicolour.
In our cattery we solely breed with cats that are being tested negative for HCM and PKD. The PKD tests are being performed by a DNA lab in Australia and the United Kingdom. The HCM tests are being followed up annually by an approved radiologist like Ingrid Putcuyps or Barbara Vandevelde.
We solely breed with healthy animals with beautiful bloodlines. With this, we hope to deliver our contribution to an improvement of this beautiful breed. Sometimes we have a litter of kittens which grow up in our living room.

Our cattery is registered under the FiFé system and we are a member of Felis Belgica.
Our cats are selected very secure before we use them to breed. We select them based on type, but even more important, health and the character of the animals.
By doing this, we strive the perfect British Shorthair, with the British breed standard and the sweet character.
Genetics and typology is important for us in breeding so we followed additional training and education.

A really reliable breeder! Super kind, nothing you ask is too much and he gives you all the advice you need. Even after moving the kittens to their new houses! Perfectly healthy kittens with an amazing character! Really a breeder by heart for his animals! Sad you can't give more than 5 stars ;). Our cute boy is now almost 9 months and we still have a good contact with the breeder. It doesn't stop at the front door for him, what's also very important!
